With Anticons, Waldersten takes another step with paintings that almost fits in a pocket. All of the paintings are made in oil, drawn on fibreboard during 2019 – 2020 They are framed at Bergevall Ramar in Stockholm with birch frame and carefully packaged in handmade boxes from Norrmalms Cardboard Factory with hand-signed titles on the front.

“To paint in a small format, on wood, started as a form of meditation, like a mantra. I wanted to get close to my pictures again, back to where it all started. Just me, surface, brush and time. To the holiness of the small things.”
